Antenatal Support
We would always suggest families attend a breastfeeding cafe for antenatal support and education before their baby arrives. However we know that some families would benefit to speak with an IBCLC before their baby arrives.
If you have any of the following concerns we may be able to offer an individual antenatal session via zoom.
- Breastfeeding trauma from a previous breastfeeding journey
- you have concerns around your ability to make a full milk supply. For example you have had breast surgery such as implants or a breast reduction.
- Your baby has potential medical concerns when they are born
- Your baby is likely to be born prematurely - before 37 weeks
- You have mental health concerns, are under the Eden Team or under the Family Nurse Practitioner teams.
If you are unsure as to whether we could offer you an individual antenatal session please email contact@lowestoftandwaveneybreastfeeding.co.uk
